Built over five decades, Norm’s remarkable assemblage spans petroliana, automobilia, motorcycle memorabilia, farm advertising, toys, and early general-store advertising. Norm’s collecting philosophy is straightforward: “If I see something I like, I buy it.” That simple motto led to a lifetime pursuit that produced a collection defined by rarity, quality, and unmistakable character. Over more than fifty years, Norm sourced treasures wherever the hunt took him - farm auctions, auction houses, collectible shows, online listings, and private sellers, including Mike Wolfe of the hit TV series American Pickers. For the first time, collectors now have the opportunity to acquire the very pieces he spent a lifetime seeking out. Key petroliana highlights include a 1940s Bennett ECO Tireflator Air Meter, a Bennett EM150 Clock Face Pump, and a monumental 1930s Dominion Tires sign. A scarce 1920s lithographed Indian Motocycle Oil can leads a strong offering of tins and cans, which also includes examples from Prairie Cities, Autoboggan, Sound-Penn, En-ar-co, Supertest, and others. Headlining the historic advertising category is a 1902 Worth & Martin Bull’s Head Perfume Dispenser, a rare example of early coin-op engineering with a touch of nostalgic glamour. Additional standouts include signs from Goodyear, Columbia Batteries, De Laval, Red Indian, and Evinrude. The toy category features an exciting selection of early to mid-century tin toys from makers such as Yonezawa, Hubley, Tippco, Lehmann, and Gunthermann.
