- All fields relating to dates and times in both responses and requests must be string data types in ISO 8601 format. For example, 2020-07-10T15:00:00.000Z, represents the 10th of July 2020 at 3 p.m. UTC. Some ISO extended standards allow for spaces but to prevent ambiguity you should replace all empty spaces with "T" to prevent any failures - A request is any communication from you, the end user, to the API. For calls like these you can typically find the data you would need in a parameterless in the API section and we wil endeavor to provide sample values for calls with parameters that cannot be inferred ##### Authentication For the PPDocs API we will use an API key for authentication. The key will need to be supplied in the header similar to the preconfigured options included in this documentation collection. The key name must be "X-Api-Key" and the server will provide a message if no key is provided. If you added the header and receive a message saying no key was provided it is recommended that you check the spelling of the header. For the sandbox the value of the "X-Api-Key" can be anything so long as it is not null or whitespace. For the production you will have an API key that is unique to each user and all users should take appropriate measures to ensure their API key remains secure. The sandbox environment is a copy of the production environment that you can use to test your integration. It will not contain any real data. It is meant to be used to test your integration and to ensure that it is working properly before you begin using the production environment. The production environment is the real environment that you will be using to integrate with the PPDocs API. It will contain real data and will be used to process real transactions.
